OH MONDAY!
1. Why, when it's 20+ outside, do the weekends seem to fly by so much faster? For our friends in the US, I know the weekend is still happening right now. Enjoy it!
2. In other news, our playroom project is completing next week and I can't wait to show it to you!!! Here's a little peek at an in progress iPhone shot.
3. Did you pick anything up in the sales over the weekend? Most are still on today if you haven't!
4. I can't stop pinning!!! Anyone else addicted to Pinterest? This photo is still one of our top pinned images and I am as in love with this canopy corner today as the day I designed Ella's room.
5. The countdown to summer break is on and I would love your help with anything you'd like to see on the blog over the summer. Are you interested in seeing the activities we do at home with the kids? Or would you rather just stick to kids design all year round? If you have any posts you'd like to see here, please let me know in the comments below!
OH MONDAY!
1. We have a winner of the Saje Wellness baby line giveaway!!! A big congratulations to Nicole Sternberg (@nicoleleigh521) who won!
2. I know I shared a room with a hanging chair last week but this chair AND a window bench in an attic playroom? I just had to show you this sweet space.

3. The countdown to school summer break is on at our house (6 weeks!) and I am starting to gather ideas for some fun ways to whittle away the ideas. Do you make a bucket list for summer vacation with your kiddos?
4. I came across this beautiful kaftan for kids and can't get enough. Isn't it gorgeous?
5. This renovation of a 70's airstream is blowing my mind!!! I've dreamt of a caravan for the kids venturing to beautiful spots to explore but this is next level!

Enjoy the Spring weather this week!
OH MONDAY!
1. The weekend flew by! We stayed home, felt the sun warm our faces, watched the Vancouver marathon, hung out with friends and let the kids run amok most of the time. It was wonderful!
2. I've been dying to get our kids a hanging chair. I grew up with one in our house and have vivid memories of whittling away summer afternoons swinging in it. The window view in this dreamy girls room is all sorts of beautiful and that chair is the icing on the cake.

3. Speaking of hanging chairs, these are my three top runners.
4. Keeping life (and our kids toys) organized is a constant battle. I love how simple but totally effective this storage unit is.

5. If you've ever wondered what happens when kids have the run of the house (our house, this weekend) including open access to the art studio...this is where it can end up!
Happy Monday friends!
OH MONDAY!
1. Loft hideaways give me all the happy childhood vibes and I adore this one by Musk Studio in Melbourne.
2. Thank you so much for your kind words about Miles' baby nursery over the past few days; I'm so glad you love it as much as our little client does! Your words of encouragement are always very much appreciated.
3. I've being doing lots of e-designs lately and love this sweet little girl nursery I designed so much! The space that this was created for is super tiny and the little cloud rug is just the sweetest little mat for a room that a big rug won't fit.
4. With all that sun we had last week, I've pulled out the kids sandals. Saltwater sandals are our absolute favourites for all three kids! If you haven't tried them, they are great for everyday wear, grip well and are designed to go in and out of water!
5. Some of you might think I'm crazy but I'm a morning person. I was always the first to get up as a kid and on days where I'm not entirely sleep deprived, I like to be the first up now. This quote perfectly summarizes why.
Have a great week!
OH MONDAY!
1. We have a very exciting week coming up!!! Our newest little boy nursery is being revealed on the blog this Wednesday! I can't wait to share it with you all.
2. Totally inspired by this incredible indoor slide in a home in Kiev, Ukraine designed by Ki Design. Getting to the living room would be so much quicker (and SO much more fun!). Totally worth going to their site to see the whole space. I love it.
3. Kaia and Noelle had 'crazy hair day' at school last week and their ideas were so amazing that I had to share.
4. Did you see local Vancouver company Petits Vilains' newest Spring collection? Their gorgeous line of children's clothes are divine and are designed and made right here!
5. For those of you that are still reading, thank you!!! Thank you for following my blog, for continuing to read even when I'm not 100% consistent, for allowing me to try different things, for following me on Instagram, for sharing your love of all things kids, understanding this crazy journey we call parenthood and the magical ride it is. Thank you for your support and your time; I truly appreciate it.
Have a great week!
HELLO!
WINTER DAISY was created when Melissa Barling was laying on the couch while pregnant with twins. She dreamed of a beautiful baby room but couldn't get up and make it happen. The babies were born and in those mid night wakes and early morning feeds, she decided to leave her corporate job to start a design studio + blog. Welcome to WINTER DAISY.
