WHAT DO YOU WANT TO READ?

It's Wednesday, the forecast is sunshine here in Vancouver and I'm sure you're all anxiously awaiting the weekend. For our friends in the US, summer break has already started and for us here, there is only another week to go!!! Over the summer, this blog changes a bit to focus more on lifestyle content and less on client projects.

With this in mind...I'd love to know what you'd like to read and see!!! I'm asking for your help in giving your input. Do you come here just for pretty pictures of kids' spaces and inspiration for your own kids' rooms? Or do you come for ideas about products, children's style, book ideas and general fun stuff to make and do with your kids? What would you like to see more of? Less of?

Do you like to read the blog and come back for reference or is a quick break (and a quick read) more your thing?

Do you want to see more how to's? Videos? Q + A's? I'm open to all of this!!!

Please leave me a comment below, email me (info@winterdaisy.com) if you'd rather let me know privately or send me a DM on Instagram. Your help is so, SO much appreciated to help guide the direction of the blog and ensure we are creating content that you want to come back for!!!

A big thank you to all who take the time to answer any of these questions with your thoughts,

OH MONDAY!

1. Loft hideaways give me all the happy childhood vibes and I adore this one by Musk Studio in Melbourne.

2. Thank you so much for your kind words about Miles' baby nursery over the past few days; I'm so glad you love it as much as our little client does! Your words of encouragement are always very much appreciated.

3. I've being doing lots of e-designs lately and love this sweet little girl nursery I designed so much! The space that this was created for is super tiny and the little cloud rug is just the sweetest little mat for a room that a big rug won't fit.

4. With all that sun we had last week, I've pulled out the kids sandals. Saltwater sandals are our absolute favourites for all three kids! If you haven't tried them, they are great for everyday wear, grip well and are designed to go in and out of water!

5. Some of you might think I'm crazy but I'm a morning person. I was always the first to get up as a kid and on days where I'm not entirely sleep deprived, I like to be the first up now. This quote perfectly summarizes why.

Have a great week!

NEW YEAR + WE'RE BACK!!!

Melissa at work

Helloooo and happy 2018!!! After the longest break since starting WINTER DAISY, the blog is back and I can't wait to share what's in store over the coming months (our first room reveal of 2018 next week!).

I'm currently on holiday in Australia and am here with my family for a couple more weeks, so while the blog is back, you can still catch our everyday adventures and some of the highlights of what we're up to over on Instagram (particularly in stories). I won't lie; it's been so lovely to take some time away, get a dose of sunshine and warmth, and feel refreshed knowing it's not long until we're back in the rain and cold (and back to everyday life!).

This year I didn't set any big New Year's resolutions but instead thought about everyday intentions: to live more in the moment, appreciate the beauty in our everyday chaos, inspire my own family, learn new things, be more patient to share a few.

I also want to learn more about YOU!!! Do you set resolutions? Have you taken steps to achieve them yet? Any that are focused around your home or kids? Tell me one in the comments below!
